This is one of my favorite photos that I took (and its my desktop background right now!). I took this photo (with my cell phone camera nonetheless) at New Buffalo Beach, Michigan on October 28, 2007. I just happened to turn and look over my shoulder at the lake and from where I was sitting on the sand dune I thought this was a gorgeous shot with the wild grass framing the lake and the pink hues of the sunset in the sky. The little white speckles at the water's edge are seagulls.
